Seminar for High Sheriffs in Nomination for the Years 2011 or 2012

The 2010 Seminar for High Sheriffs In Nomination will be held at Burghley House, Stamford, Lincolnshire on Friday 2nd July 2010. Details of the Programme and Speakers together with an Application Form will be sent in mid-May 2010 to all High Sheriffs In Nomination for 2011 and 2012.

39th Annual General Meeting and Luncheon

The Association's 39th AGM-Luncheon will be held at The Fishmongers' Hall, London Bridge, London EC4R 9EL on Wednesday 3rd November 2010. The Agenda and Papers for the AGM and an Application Form for the Luncheon will be sent to all Members of the Association in mid-September 2010. The Nomination of High Sheriffs for 2011
Friday 12th November 2010
The Ceremony of the Nomination of High Sheriffs for 2011 will take place on Friday 12th November 2010 in Court 4 (The Lord Chief Justice's Court) at The Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London WC2A 2LL at the customary time of 2pm. At this Ceremony the names of those Nominated for the Office of High Sheriff for the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 will be read out in Court.
Following the Court Ceremony, it is the intention of the Association to hold a 'Tea Party' for all those attending between 3pm and 5pm. The Secretary will be writing in late September/early October to all High Sheriffs In Nomination for either 2011 or for 2012 inviting them to attend. This function is intended to provide an opportunity for nominees to meet with their contemporaries and thus begin to make useful contacts for the future.
