High Sheriffs Awards

2010/2011
On Wednesday 6th April 2011, the High Sheriff, Dennis Mendoros, awarded the High Sheriff’s Certificates to Sue Littlefair (Prince’s Trust), Ian Groundwater (Lancashire Partnership Against Crime), Bob Gildert (Lancashire Fire & Rescue Services) and David Smith (Chairman - Prince’s Trust in Lancashire) for their proactive and effective support during the inaugural year of the new High Sheriff EmpowerMent Initiative

The High Sheriff of Lancashire presented the annual Young Citizen Awards to 30 winners & finalists at Lancashire Constabulary HQ on 9th March 2011

Ian Wood (BAE Systems), ACC Wendy Walker, Dennis Mendoros (High Sheriff) with Caitlin Jones, Ryan Stubbs and Morgan Rawcliffe.

In October 2010, the High Sheriff of Lancashire, Dennis Mendoros OBE, DL, FRAeS has awarded the Ribble Valley & White Rose Ladies the High Sheriff of Lancashire’s Certificate in recognition of great and valuable services to the community.

In July 2010, the High Sheriff of Lancashire, Dennis Mendoros OBE, DL, FRAeS has awarded bravery and public spiritedness awards as a result of a Crown Court Order by His Honour Judge Norman Wright to the following: 
* Sam Ashall
* Scott McMahon
