The Names of the High Sheriffs on the Roll for 2013 will be 'pricked' by Her Majesty The Queen at the Meeting of the Privy Council to be held at Buckingham Palace.

Seminar for High Sheriffs In Nomination for the Years 2014 and 2015

The 2013 Seminar for High Sheriffs In Nomination will be held at Burghley House, Stamford, Lincolnshire on Friday 5th July 2013. Details of the Programme and Speakers together with an Application Form will be sent in mid-May 2013 to all High Sheriffs In Nomination for 2014 and 2015.

42nd Annual General Meeting and Luncheon

The Association's 42nd AGM-Luncheon will be held at the Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4R 9EL on Wednesday 6th November 2013. The Agenda and Papers for the AGM and an Application Form for the Luncheon will be sent to all Members of the Association in mid-September 2013.
The Nomination of
future High Sheriffs
Tuesday 12th November 2013
The Ceremony of the Nomination of High Sheriffs will take place on Tuesday 12th November 2013 in Court 4 (The Lord Chief Justice's Court) at The Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London WC2A 2LL. At this Ceremony the names of those Nominated for the Office of High Sheriff for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016 will be read out in Court.
Following the Court Ceremony, the Association will hold a 'Tea Party' for all those attending between 3pm and 4:30pm. The Secretary will be writing in September to all High Sheriffs In Nomination for 2014 and for 2015 inviting them to attend. Court space is limited. This function provides a good opportunity for those In Nomination to meet each other.
